TKF were invited to hold a Woman’s Self Defence class for a social group at Clover Hill on Saturday 24th June. This wasn’t the first time that TKF had been invited to a social group to teach some basic self- defence.
TKF instructor Katie took the session and taught certain techniques, strikes, escapes and various awareness strategies based around self-defence for women specifically. The feedback was positive with the social group learning a lot about how to defend themselves if a situation was to ever arise.
We can offer self-defence classes to anyone who may be interested whether it’s a social group, work group or even a group of friends. Whether its mixed or gender specific, self-defence is always an important aspect of martial arts as it could potentially save lives in the real world.
